 Senator  Dr. Rose Oko, lawmaker representing Cross River North Senatorial District at the upper chamber of the National Assembly is dead.

Thee Peoples Democratic chieftain who was the first elected female lawmaker from her constituency died at 63

The female lawmaker died last night in a hospital, in the United Kingdom.

Until her death she was the chairman, Senate Committee on Trade and Investment.
