Oyo state House of Assembly on thursday resolved that movement into the state house of Assembly complex and office be restricted.

The resolution was part of the measure to prevent further spread of the pandemic corona virus

Speaker of the Assembly Hon Ogundoyin while reading the resolution of the house on the matter of urgent public important on corona virus said the house will also provide hand sanitizer at every point of entry into the assembly complex and offices

He maintained that politicians have the tendencies of contacting the virus faster based on the number of people they meet on daily basis and instead of spreading it through torch and handshake, conversations should be done through phone calls and other means.

While call on proper parliative measure on the matter , the speaker express optimism that Governor Seyi Makinde led executives is not resting on his oars to prevent spread of the virus in the state.

Majority leader of the House , Hon Sanjo Adedoyin representing Ogbomoso South had raised a matter of urgent public important where he prayed that the house call on the state government to act fast

Hon Adedoyin maintained that the government should put in a solid preventive measure to check the oubreak of the virus in the state

Other lawmakers inclduding Hon Fadeyi, Deputy Speaker, Hon Asimiyu Alarape, Majority Leader, Hon Ayo Fatokun, Hon Saliu Gbadamosi and Hon Bimbo Oladeji in their contributions maintained that the commissioner for information,culture and tourism, Health, Education, Chairman SUBEB, Provost of tertiary institution and other related agencies should be invited to speak on what parliative measure being taking to prevent it.

Hon Oladeji added that the hotel where the victims and his caregiver lodge in Ibadan before the proceeded to Ekiti state should be investigated and quarantined to prevent further spread of the virus.
