276 new cases of COVID -19 waa yesterday recorded in Nigeria by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control NCDC

According to data obtained on the website of the association, Lagos has 161cases , Rivers, 36, Edo-27, Kaduna19, Nasarawa10

Oyo has 6 new cases , Kano, 4, Delta3, Ebonyi 3, Gombe 2, Ogun, 1 Ondo, 1Borno1, Abia1 and Bauchi1

Meanwhile seventeen confirmed COVID-19 patients have received their second NEGATIVE test results and have been discharged in Oyo

This brings the number of discharged cases in Oyo State to seventy-five.

Governor Makinde in a statement obtained via tweeter also dislclosed that 2. “the COVID-19 confirmation tests for six suspected cases came back POSITIVE. One case is from iSON Xperiences and one each from Ibadan South West, Ibadan South East, Surulere, Ido and Egbeda Local Government Areas.”

“Sadly, two of the six positive cases confirmed today had already passed away. So, the total number of confirmed cases in Oyo State is 250 and the total number of deaths is six.”He concluded.
