Supporters included groups such as widows, public speakers, patent medicine dealers, welders, and goldsmiths, all voicing their unwavering support.

Chief Waheed Adurodekun, a respected political leader and chieftain of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), encouraged attendees to promote Sanusi’s candidacy, emphasizing his potential for transformative change.

Adurodekun highlighted how Sanusi’s philanthropic efforts and business acumen would form a solid foundation for effective governance.

To ensure transparency and inclusivity, a register booklet was distributed to gather data on supporters.

Organizers assured attendees that their contributions would not go unnoticed, promising the good governance Sanusi aims to deliver.

Expressing gratitude to the enthusiastic crowd, Sanusi revealed that he had initially planned to support another candidate but felt compelled to reconsider due to the overwhelming calls from the people.

He emphasized that his supporters’ decisions would be paramount, prompting chants of “PDP! PDP!” from the crowd, signaling their preference and energizing the political atmosphere.
