A Chieftain of the peoples Democratic Party In Iseyin local Government Prince Olusola Adetunji has said people of Oke Ogun will not fall for the antics of opposition to discredit Governor Seyi Makinde’s administration.
He said the opposition have been around discrediting Governor Makinde and giving forlon hope but for us in Oke Ogun we are going to support the change we can have seen and can trust rather than they one we have not seen and the only way to reward Seyi Makinde’s effort in transforming Oke Ogun and Oyo state entirely is to massively support his re-election bid and reject those who wanted to return Oyo state to the biblical Egypt.
“Before his administration, we know oke ogun roads were, we know how the APC led government failed to do any serious work on Iseyin-ibadan road, how they abandoned Oyo- Iseyin road, Saki township road, i am from Iseyin and i can bodly tell you now that we can boast of traveling from Iseyin to Ibadan in less than an hour, Iseyin to Oyo is ongoing same in many places accross the region.
” In an interaction with Journalist in Iseyin, Adetunji said ‘ What happened during the National Assembly election will not repeat itself during the governorship election, people are determined to re-elect governor Seyi Makinde”.
According to him, our people understand and cherishes the value Governor Seyi is adding to Oke Ogun, his administration has only enhances development but preparing the region for future explosion through infrastructures and provision of basic amenities
” Since oyo state was created this is the first time we will be having a governor whose hands is everywhere, there is hardly any ward where you will not see governor Seyi Makinde’s hands, education, health sectors, roads and many others, we want this to continue because it has helped reduced rural-urban migration and attract more development.
Asked if it will be easy for Seyi Makinde as an opposition in the South West Adetunji said” APC was at the Federal when he was the only opposition in the south west and you can see that he performed excellently, even more than the APC governors, so nothing has changed, Seyi Makinde is a determined person irrespective of the party ruling the federal, Makinde will do better and he is the preferred choice of the masses.
