Chief Niyi Akintola SAN,is among the top politician that will challenge governor Seyi Makinde in 2023.

Akintola a Senior Advocate of Nigeria contested the governorship ticket under the All Progressives Congress in 2019, he was persuaded to step down for Oloye Bayo Adelabu who lost to Seyi Makinde.

His media  Director, Bolaji Oladepo while speaking with journalist in Ibadan said The legal luminary is ready to transform oyo state by running government unusual.

” From all perspective , he is deserving because he understand how to navigate the murky water for politics for development ”

He said, Akintola has perfected his document and plans on how to transform Oyo state and make it a better state for all to thrive.

Oladepo said ” His involvement in politics is to make impact and i believe if he became the governor, he will govern the state with passion and and make people happy

Oladepo was accompanied by Alhaji Rasaq Ekundayo, Alhaji Owolabi Adeniyi, and Afeez Abass.
