A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress APC in Oyo State Eng Abass Lawal has express optimism that the party will retain elective position in Ogo Oluwa Surulere at both state and Federal Constituency in in 2023
Abass, founder of Lawal Abass Against Marginality and Povery (LAMP) and house of Assembly hopeful disclosed this while speaking with journalists at the end of stakeholders meeting held in Ajaawa and Iresa on Monday.
He maintained that the outstanding achievements of the leader Hon Segun Dokun Odebunmi in the Constituency has further increase the chances of the party in the state.
” The turnout for the stakeholders meeting was impressive, its a signal that our people are resolute in their determination to retain the seats for APC in the next political dispensation.
While commending the leaders and other stakeholders for their commitment , Lawal urged aggrieved party members to eschew politics of bitterness and embrace peace.
” Together we can grow our party and bring desired changes to our society, i want to appeal to my fellow youths in the Constituency and state to coperate with the leaders and be more active in politics.
