2023: APC Should Forget Oyo State – Chief Niyi Akintola

Chief Niyi Akintola (SAN), a leading gubernatorial aspirant in All Progressive Congress in Oyo State
on Thursday declared that party is dead in the state.

Chief Niyi Akintola while addressing journalist, after having a meeting with other aspirations at Premier hotel said that he is not ready to partake in primary election going on at liberty stadium because he noticed that the delegates has been doctored in favor of one particular aspirant.

“Am not participating in that charade, as it has been schewed in favor of one particular aspirant and I will not be a party to that charade”.

He further said that it was his mandate as one of the aspirants to demand for the list of delegates so that all aspirants contesting for the primary would see it but delegates list brought out by the All Progressive Congress electoral panel has been tampered with.

Niyi Akintola admonished all members of All Progressive Congress in Oyo State to forget about going to the government in the state come 2023.

“My party members would decide my next move, am a progressive all of them met me here, have been in this struggle since 1998 from AD, what has been my reward?

Jagba came from PDP some of them from ADC I have never move and inch, am an Ige boy, the same they do to Olu-Falae and kill AD”.

“So they should kiss government house goodbye in Oyo state”.

He further stated that his next move would depend on members of the party instruction given to him
