2019 Otun Ekiti Day Celebration Holds Dec 26

The 2019 Otun Ekiti Day celebration has been scheduled to hold at December 26 at Oore Pavilion in Otun

This was disclosed by the Chairman Otun Heritage Club, Chief Olusegun Olawuyi who led members of the club including Barrister Yinka Awoyinka, and others  to pay a courtesy visit to Director General, Ekiti State Council for Arts and Culture in Ekiti.

Chief Olawuyi said Ogun Heritage club  and the entire people of the town are willing to collaborate with the state government to promote cultural heritage and tradition of the historical community

He also congratulated Ojo lanre on his appointment and urge him to use his wealth of experience to transform the art and cultural sector in line with the vision of Dr Kayode Fayemi.

Ojo lanre in his lauds the Otun Heritage club and the people for the involving government in their program saying ” our involvement is in line with the mandate given to us by Dr Kayode Fayemi to promote, Develop and enhance activities that would promote peace and restore value in the state

He said further that the state government won’t support any festival or cultural event that encourage or promote any form of violence.

He however assure them of government collaboration and support in ensuring a hitch free celebration and promotion of unity among otun people
