Dr. Olusegun Mimiko, immediate past  Governor of Ondo State has declared his intention to contest the 2019 presidency on the platform of the Labour Party (LP).

He made the declaration at the National Secretariat of the Labour Party In Abuja.

While speaking at the event Dr Mimiko noted that there  comes a time in the life of a nation where all patriots must stand up to be counted.

“I have found it compelling to declare my intention to run for president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria”

Mimiko lamented the killings that is going on across the country especially in the said purposeful leadership is required to halt the carnage.

Alhaji Abdulkadir Abdulsalam, the Chairman  of the party and other top party leaders and supporters werw at the event.
