Oluwo of Iwoland, HIM Oba Abdulrosheed Adewale Akanbi, has described himself as a priest of pure prescription that accepts neither dirty nor human body as sacrifice. The monarch disclosed his sacrificial items are pure services to humanity devoid of idolatry.
Oluwo tasked Nigerians to migrate from old environmental degrading sacrificial practice in the name of tradition and transfer their interest to modern sacrificial elements as exemplified by his services to humanity.
The admonition was made by Oluwo at the last Jumaat service in Iwo Central Mosque
Quoting the monarc “ I`m a priest. My own sacrifice is service to humanity devoid of idolatry/dirty items. And whenever anyone comes for prayer, I supplicate and tell him/her to do something for his Church or Mosque depending on his religion. I told some to do something for the town ranging from road rehabilitation/patching, electrification, human empowerment and many more. While the testimonies are naked, the town is also experiencing infrastructural development ”
“Also, I appeal to all Nigerians to desist from sacrifices that degrade and dirty our society. But instead, they should inculcate his sacrifices of renovation and beautifying human mental and physical environment “said Oluwo.
Addressing the congregation, Oluwo condemned instruments associated with offering human for sacrifice as demotivating, imploring them to emulate him as a priest of pure sacrifices devoid of dirtiness.
Relaying his sacrificial prescription as a priest, he said whenever anyone consult him for prayers, I tell them to clean Mosques, Churches, strategic places, popular junctions, patching potholes, empowering people and other compassionate commitments to enliven the city and her people.
