Solution Media & Infotech, the owners of Hi-Impact Planet- Nigeria’s largest Amusement Park and Resort set another unprecedented record in the multimedia world with the unveiling of Hi Impact television station , a first HD TV in Nigeri

The television station- Hi-Impact TV, which was commissioned on the 29th of May 2018 will commence full operation on June 1st with a target of 15millions subscribers

The  station is broadcasting  through Viewsat  one of the fastest growing global communication network which  provides a comprehensive range of FTA satellite and OTT streaming services for broadcasters of every size across the globe to reach subscribers

In his welcome address ,The chief Executive officer of Solution Media and Infotech  Prince Adeyanju Lipede said the focus of the station is to revolutionize family entertainment and education, with an introduction of innovative learning programming.

Lipede also stressed that the station will assisting children excel in the Junior/Senior Secondary School Examinations conducted by WAEC, NECO as well as the Joint Matriculations Exams (JAMB), with its educative programmes.

Vice President ,Professor  Yemi Osinbajo described the station a revolution within the Nigerian broadcast, entertainment and media industry.

Osinbajo who was represented Folorunsho Coker, Director General ,Nigeria Tourism Development Corporation  NTDC  said  the station will be the first in Nigeria to transmit all its programmes completely on High Definition.

“This is to support government’s resolve to carry out reforms in the sector and grow the economy by leveraging on the potentials of the creative sector to showcase our rich culture. This will contribute to increasing the Nigerian GDP. Actors, producers, directors, camera men will all be gainfully employed directly or indirectly,” he said.

He said further  that the digital switch over ensured that the National Broadcasting Commission and other stakeholders will make Nigeria the biggest digital market in Africa while positively impacting the Nigerian film industry and contributing to the growth of this economy.

He further stated that the launching is a testament of the strength and dedication of the Hi-Impact team.

“I am told that the channel will be focusing largely on the family, entertainment and relaxation and I hope that you will make the viewing public. It will be a fantastic experience for the kids who will want to be involved and will be inspired to pursue careers in the media and creative industries in Nigeria,” he added.

Lampe Omoyeni, an advert executive  while explaining the benefits of High Definition resolution of the  station said, the picture quality will be clearer and better than what obtains in most TV stations in Nigeria and other part of the world , He said , most stations uses Standard  Definition of something lower due to resources and equipments.

“ The adoption of HD by Hi Impact TV will go a long way in attracting advertisers and corporate organization in showcasing their products on the station because the video and picture  quality will be of good resolution.

Representatives of Viewsat, Joseph Ejiogbu said the  communication company partners with Impact TV because of the quality  video resolution and  content

Alake of Egbaland, Oba Adedotun Gbadebo in his short remarks lauded the management of Solution media for their genuine innovation and contributions to the development of Nigeria. He said this will added to another 1st being scored by people of Egba Kingdom.

Other dignitaries at the events includes, Tunji Alapini ,AIG retrd, representatives of Lagos and Ogun state Governments, media experts , reigning Nigerian Thespians including Sola Sobowale, Clarion Chukwura among others
